Whether it's a sponsoring or operational foundation — we help you to effectively implement your ideas and work together to design structures that last.
Our services for you
We support you in drafting your foundation statutes, coordinate with the relevant authorities and take all necessary steps to recognize your foundation. In addition, there is, for example, clarifying the charitable status, defining the purpose of the foundation and implementing individual wishes and goals, taking into account legal frameworks and regulations. In doing so, we do not provide legal and tax advice ourselves, but rely on proven experts and an experienced team.
The Hansen & Heinrich Foundation Trust assumes the responsible and proper execution of all tasks and duties that arise when taking over the trusteeship of a legally dependent foundation. The founder decide whether they want to join the Board of Trustees and how they will be involved in ongoing events.
Together with our partners, we manage the foundation for selected tasks or as a complete package for the Board of Trustees. This includes, for example: minutes of board meetings, implementation of funding decisions, preparation of donation/donation certificates, assistance in preparing the annual financial statements, preparation of the use of funds report, communication with regulatory authorities, service providers, tax and legal advisors, banks, financial service providers and insurance companies.
Succession in the appointment of individual foundation bodies can be difficult and lengthy. With our network and personal approaches, we are happy to help you find suitable candidates.

Your questions to us.
Do you have any questions about our services? We would also be happy to answer them for you personally.
At H&H, it all starts with getting to know each other personally — either at one of our four locations (Berlin, Frankfurt, Kempten, Düsseldorf) or directly at your location. Together, we evaluate your current situation and work on a strategy for your assets. During the entire process, you have a dedicated contact person who will support you over the long term.
With the trust foundations we set up, we make sure that a later switch to a foundation with legal capacity is easily possible. For this reason, a smaller trust foundation is often set up first in order to gain initial experience in charitable status. Later or upon death, the foundation's assets can then be increased and, if necessary, managed permanently in the interests of the founder within the framework of a foundation with legal capacity.
At least 250,000 euros of liquid assets should be contributed to a trust foundation. For a foundation with legal capacity, at least 1,000,000 euros of liquid assets should be contributed.
In contrast to some competitors, we do not use the construct of donation subject to conditions, but conclude genuine trust contracts. In this way, the founders remain flexible with regard to the trustee.
